At our little lake on post....the beach is clean and really nice for our 17 month old to play in.

ReplyDeleteWe live in the middle of Missouri so we don't have beaches anywhere near. We frequent the Lake of the Ozarks and the kids play on the shore there. It is calm, quiet and the kids love it!

I love the beach at Myrtle Beach SC. We lived there for 6 years and moved back to Il. We might be going back for a visit soon I hope. I would love to win this to go with all my other cake items I have. Being a single mother of 3 girls I cannot afford to vacation much but we do have great memories of our last vacation in the Dominican Republic. The beaches in Puerto Plata are the most beautiful, crystal clear, warm waters that we have seen and enjoyed. Wish we could go back. I am trying to start my own small baking business and this would be awesome if I could win. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

Absolute favorite beach is in the Dry Tortugas, two hours from Key West! It's such a cool spot, with the historic Civil War era fort and the crystal blue waters, and no one else around for miles and miles!

ReplyDelete"Surfer's Beach" in El Granada (near Half Moon Bay Ca)...we've always called it "Surfer's Beach" but I think it's just Granada Beach heehee. One of your first dates was a picnic on this beach and then a year later my husband proposed to me on hte very same spot at midnight on a beautiful August night (or morning ) and we love taking the kids there to play in the sand, find shells, chase the waves and boogie board =o)

ReplyDeleteI'm lucky, my favorite beach in within walking distance. Revere Beach in Revere MA. It may not be the best beach in the world but it's My favorite. Every day in the summer my friends and I walk/bike to go swimming and ever winter we take the bus to go play on the frozen sand dunes. So we can always go and have fun when there's nothing to do.

I really enjoyed Seal Beach in California but my heart belongs in Middle Cove beach in Newfoundland Canada where we had bond fire, hot dogs and bear with our late friend Steve. He passed away 6 months ago and when I think of him, I have the image of him singing at that beach.

Oh, this would be an AMAZING prize to win! My Favorite beach has to be in Cancun, the beach we went to on our Honey Moon -Aug. 9th will be 11 yrs ago! The day we arrived at the beach some Sea Turtles were born and the day we left to go home we got to watch them make the "long" trip from beach to the ocean for the first time! So awesome!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite beach would be in Ocean City, Md. You have the boardwalk behind you & the ocean in front of you...it's wonderful. And love the smell of the ocean mixed with the smells of funnel cake, boardwalk fries & all the other goodies sold on the boardwalk. The sound of waves crashing on the beach with the carnival music in the background, it's a rush of nostalgia...makes you feel like a kid again. Love visiting O.C., Md!!

ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed beaches around the world, and don't have a favorite per se .Whether white sand beaches in FL, black sand beaches in the Azores ( Portugal), the dunes in Schveningen Holland, the rock beaches on Northwestern Italy 's Lake Garda , Cape Hatteras in North Carolina or at the Pax River rec enter beach near Solomon's Island in Maryland.I'm an Air Force brat who has gotten the chance to see a lot.I love walking beaches in the fall and winter too.It doesn't have to be hot and bright for me to enjoy the water and sand with a view.

My favorite beach is "La playa de San Felipe", Baja California, MEXICO. My childhood memories are filled with Tacos, Cotton Candy, Caramel Apples sold by venders walking the beach & of people riding horses & dune buggies.

Kuhio Beach in Waikiki across from Kapiolani Park! Diamond Head is not that far. We always BBQ there, with my family that live on Oahu, when we visit.

ReplyDeleteMatagorda Texas Beach! I enjoy going there every year with my boyfriend he fishes while I relax enjoy the view, sometimes we have even seen dolphins swimming by in groups! :)

ReplyDeleteWe don't have many good beaches in New York but my Favorite is Coney Island Beach :D It;s a family favorite :) and love the Aquarium nearby
ReplyDeleteHi. Our family's favorite beach is Pier Village in Long Branch, NJ. It's a wonderful spot that makes you feel like you're on a vaca far away from home, besides the fact that the board walk is full of Amazing shops & restaurants =)

Ok, So I am from Texas and Galveston Beaches are the only ones that I have seen. Although I really want to see clear blue water and whaite sand I will say that my favorite learned about beaches are probably beaches in Greece. I would love to go there and bask in the sun with my family. I do love the little theme you have this time. You could do so many different things with this one and they would all be FUN!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that my favorite spot was when we were younger we went to visit my sister in California and we went to San Diego and went horse back riding on the beach.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite beach is in Perth, in Australia! I went there 10 years ago and it was my favourite holiday, with a big boardwalk and boutique shops, plus an aquarium, and a glorious beach. :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite beach is a place called Kalamas in Kailua on the island of Oahu. Sand is fine, water is always warm, and you don't get cold when you get out of the water because the sun always seems to be the right temperature there to warm you up. The waves are not to big, but big enough for the kids to have fun and be safe. I think I'll go right now. Have an awesome day everyone!
