Thanksgiving ~ A Time to be Thankful

Wow, what a year this has been for me!!!  3 new molds and Cake Pops are "Popping" up everywhere!

I have been so blessed.  I have the best fans and customers.  I love hearing the wonderful stories from everyone who contacts My Little Cupcake and comments on our posts.  I feel truly blessed and humbled by all the wonderful cake pop makers out there who share my joy of creating and love the molds as much as I do.
THANK YOU TO ALL!!!

So at the kick off to a very special time of year (and in celebration of Thanksgiving and my Birthday) I want to do something new and extra fun!

Tell me what you want to create this holiday season with one our 4 molds.  Pick any of the shapes (Cupcake, Cone, Ball or Heart and tell me what you would make with it).  It can be an object or character. You pick.  Be descriptive.

Do you want a ball for your kids to make something cute and interesting?

Or are you thinking a heart?

You can't go wrong with a Christmas Tree for a Christmas Party.

And then there is still the Cupcake!  I just heard on TV (not kidding) that Cupcakes were as addicting as Cocaine.  But there not illegal and not nearly as bad for you!  So I say enjoy;-)

The WINNERS (yes I said winners!!!...........  3 WINNERS)
will receive a Variety Pack (shown below) which is a set of all the molds.

and a $50.00 shopping spree....

  5. I'm commenting because I love your mold (I have one) and think these new molds are way too cute! I have tried a few times to make cake pops using your 'no bake' recipe and I've decided that I'm just not good at cooking -- or non-cooking as this recipe would have it...LOL! Congratulations to My Litte Cupcake for your success and Good Luck to everyone who enters!

I want to create the Grinch with the heart shape mold. It it is put upside down it makes a perfect face shape from the classic cartoon "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". I always watch that movie a lot this time of year. A curly top or maybe a gum paste santa hat, some green candy melts, and a black edible marker to make the perfect "Grinch" smile and voila!

  10. I would love the tree mold to make cute little Christmas trees with lights and everything! Of course anyone of them would be fab!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I would love to make all of them out of the cookie dough recipe! I made it for the first time for my sisters wedding shower, they were a huge hit. Now I have to make about 100 for the wedding! :)

  12. I would take the cone and make angels, adding wings from gumpaste and a little round fondant ball on top for the heads and paint the faces. These would be in honor of my mother who I lost to cancer last year. She would have gotten a kick out of it.

  13. I will be using the round one to make ladybugs and bees, for my twins 1st birthday "bug inspired" party. And, the Christmas trees I plan to use as trees, of course, and then I will also be using them to turn them upside down to make chandeliers with them for New Year's! So many ideas, so little time............ Thanks for a chance to enter.

  18. I had recently made cupcakes for a snowflake themed bridal shower. They turned out amazing! I was at the store and found the cutest snowflake sprinkles and thought they would be so cute on a cake pop. I can't wait until winter so I can make them! Those cupcakes got me obsessed with snowflakes.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I would love to make the Christmas Trees. I have tried cake pops on my own and you don't want to see the results. These molds are brilliant! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

  22. Oh Boy! What a great give away! The cake pops are addictive, that is for sure.

I have the cup cake mold, and I am planning on making the Oreo cookie and cream cheese cake pops that are decorated for Christmas in red and green. However, I would love to use the tree mold and make trees instead. I have the cutest candy stars for the top of the tree and can use sprinkles and candy balls for tree trimmings. The more I think about it the more ideas for decorations I can envision.

Wishing you and your family a fantastic Thanksgiving-

  24. I am my son's preschool room mom. A lot of the parents have had a rough year; however, I am fortunate enough I have been quite successful with my cake business. This year we are putting on a Christmas play at his school and I am making all the decorations and costumes. I would use the round and cone molds to make the little actors and actresses snowmen and xmas tree goodies for all their hard work. The round ones would be used to make snowmen and reindeer. The cones would be used to make trees, santa hats, and elf hats. Also, we would make extras to take to the firefighters as we live next to a fire station. Unfortunately, they are at work even when most of us are home with our families.

I have sooooo many ideas! Lol I would use the round mold to make snowballs (dipped in white chocolate and either crystal sugar or cococnut to give it the snow effect). I would use the heart shape to make a Santa claus face (use upside down dipping round part into white and part way up for face then dip top half in red for the hat adding pearl at the peak for his hat and draw on your face OR make a "large" pop making the heart shape and color all white AND use the cone shape to make a hat by dipping in all red and secure together with melting chocolates or tooth pick) I must say I LOVE the reindeer on the top!!! (I may steal it if I win!) I too would also use the cone to make a tree. My last idea is to make another "large" pop using the round mold to make snowmen! (I'll let everyone else use their imagination this time!) Not to be forgotten, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I would LOVE to use the heart for Easter and do what you did with the reindeer, but Make white Easter Bunnies with pink heart noses and whiskers out of licorice! Or the round mold could be made to look like little yellow chickies with orange accents!<3

  162. Those cake molds would be great in my 4-K class. We could enhance some of our learning units with a cooking activity. The cone shape could have been used to make toucans. Dip a fourth of the larger end into dark chocolate. The other end can be dipped in candy coatings of different colors to give a layered effect. When the cone is on its side, the colors will be the beak. Sugar pearls can be used for the eyes, using food coloring pens for the pupils. This would have been great for our "Rainforest" theme. I'm a very busy mom of 3 (and foster mom of 1-3 at any given time) and every kid through my door LOVE to be in the kitchen making yummy cute theing with me. Food really relaxes people of all ages, and making something even small kids can be proud of makes them feel so good!!! Of corse I love to make treats for my husbands squadren and send some to his fellow airmen overseas especially around the holidays, so the hearts and trees would come in very handy for me right now. 176. Hi! I would like to do angry birds cake pops :) With the balls I'm going to do the red birds (with red candy melt) and the pigs (with green one). With the cones and yellow candy melt I'm going to do the yellow bird and with the original cup cake mold I want to do the big red angry bird and the bigger pigs. To end, with the heart mold I'm going to do the white angry bird and all those are going to be decorated with baby tear drop candies to make their mouth, toppers to make their eyes and the other details can be done with the food pens.
That's what I want to do with the minimolds for my boyfriend's birthday, and I still thinking for more ideas.
Thanks a lot. I think the cake pop molds and the recipe are wonderful.
